He recalled how, after a devastating earthquake two decades ago, doubts were cast on Kutch’s ability to recover. However, the resilience of the people of Kutch prevailed, inspiring the prime minister to applaud their determination.
PM Modi further highlighted India’s improved disaster management capabilities, citing it as an example for other nations. He emphasized that the country’s ability to handle natural disasters has significantly strengthened in recent years.
Cyclone Biparjoy made landfall near Jakhau on Thursday evening, resulting in widespread destruction in the Kutch and Saurashtra regions of Gujarat.
