The incident occurred around 5:30 PM local time. The unidentified man breached a bicycle rack barrier and began climbing a riser where television reporters and cameras were stationed. Witnesses quickly alerted security, and police responded swiftly. The man was subdued with a Taser and escorted out of the rally without further incident.
Podcaster George Behizy captured the event on video, sharing it on social media platform X. “A Deranged Democrat tried to breach the security at Trump’s rally in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and got dealt with BEAUTIFULLY by the cops,” Behizy wrote. The video quickly garnered attention and sparked reactions online.
This incident follows a recent security scare where a bullet grazed Trump’s ear during an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania. Security measures have since been significantly increased at Trump’s events.
In a related development, a second man was handcuffed and removed from the venue shortly after the initial incident. It remains unclear if the two events are connected. The motives behind the man’s actions are also unknown, as is whether he was a supporter or opponent of Trump.
