A devastating incident unfolded in northwest Pakistan on Sunday when a roof collapse caused by a fire claimed the lives of a woman and her eight children. The tragedy occurred at Tahari village in Abbotabad district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, adding to the recent string of losses within the same community.
Rescue officials reported that a short-circuit triggered a fire, leading to the collapse of the mud house. Locals discovered the bodies of the woman and her children, including four daughters, amidst the debris of the collapsed structure. The ages of the victims remain undisclosed at this time.
