Alicia Hallock took to Instagram to describe her experience, highlighting the dangers of what was meant to be a routine medical procedure. She detailed how the Botox injections led to rare complications, causing paralysis in her neck muscles, droopy eyelids, blurry vision, dizziness, and difficulty speaking. These issues escalated to the point where she faced dysphagia, making swallowing difficult and putting her at risk of choking on saliva, along with symptoms resembling botulism, a serious nerve-related disease.
The severity of her condition required intensive care and multiple medical interventions, including feeding tubes for nutrition and extensive mucus removal from her lungs and throat.
