In a statement released on Saturday, the Vatican said, “The Holy Father still requires hospital medical therapy, motor and respiratory physiotherapy; these therapies, at present, are showing further, gradual improvements.”
The 87-year-old pontiff has faced several health challenges in recent years, including respiratory infections and mobility issues. While the Vatican did not specify the exact nature of his current condition, it reassured the public that his recovery was progressing steadily.
