Three Hezbollah members were killed in a series of Israeli airstrikes across southern Lebanon on Sunday, according to Lebanese military sources. The strikes were part of escalating tensions along the Lebanon-Israel border, which have intensified since earlier this month.
The Israeli airstrikes targeted multiple locations, including a residential house in the southeast village of Houla and a Hezbollah ammunition warehouse in the town of Adloun. Two Hezbollah members were killed in the Houla attack, while a third was killed in the raid on the ammunition depot. The strikes also resulted in injuries to six civilians and significant damage to infrastructure, with nine homes reported destroyed.
In retaliation, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for attacking several Israeli positions, including the Dafna colony and sites in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms. The group’s offensive reportedly included the use of Katyusha rockets, marking a new phase in the ongoing conflict.
