Strong earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR and various parts of North India on Tuesday, causing panic among residents. The earthquake, measuring a magnitude of 5.4, originated in Doda, Jammu and Kashmir, according to the National Centre for Seismology. The tremors were felt around 1:30 PM and lasted for a few seconds.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall warning for Gujarat as Cyclone Biparjoy approaches the state. The cyclone is expected to bring heavy downpours to several districts, including Kutch, Devbhumi Dwarka, Porbandar, Jamnagar, Rajkot, Junagarh, and Morbi, on June 14.
