A shocking revelation unfolded in Indonesia when a 26-year-old man, known as AK, discovered that his newlywed wife, Adinda Kanza, was actually a man disguised as a woman. The startling discovery came just twelve days after their wedding, leaving AK in disbelief and prompting legal action against Kanza.
According to a report from the South China Morning Post, AK first encountered Kanza on a social media platform in 2023. Despite meeting in person, Kanza always concealed her face with traditional Muslim attire, which AK initially attributed to her devotion to Islam. Their relationship progressed, leading to a modest wedding ceremony, as Kanza claimed to have no family to attend.
However, AK’s suspicions arose when Kanza persisted in hiding her face even after marriage, avoiding social interactions with AK’s family and friends. Additionally, Kanza refused to consummate the marriage, citing various reasons such as her menstrual cycle and feeling unwell.
Doubts mounting, AK conducted an investigation and discovered that Kanza’s parents were alive and unaware of her marriage. Shockingly, it was revealed that Kanza, identified as ESH, had been cross-dressing since 2020.
During police interrogation, Kanza admitted to marrying AK with fraudulent intentions to steal his family’s assets. The police noted that Kanza’s disguise was so convincing that even their wedding photos showed no indication of Kanza’s true identity. Kanza now faces charges of fraud under Indonesia’s laws, with a potential sentence of up to four years in prison.
